Analyze every movement

The Home software is designed as a simplified version of the Swing Catalyst Pro software. It offers everything that an amateur golfer requires to evaluate his or her swing.

At the heart of the Home software is the ability to record video from up to two cameras and trigger recordings with a launch monitor. The Home software captures essential club and ball data, which is displayed in data boxes for each take. All the data is stored in a single swing file.
// Record high-speed video

Launch Monitor Integration

When we were opening The Baseball Performance Lab on campus at Marucci Sports it was an easy decision to go with Swing Catalyst. The combination of having both pressure and force give us greater insight into player kinetics.

One of the foundations of hitting instruction has always been “get into your legs!”  But what’s that really mean?  The swing catalyst system gives me real time data points that allows me to evaluate and instruct the efficiency of the lower half.

Automated recording: The launch monitor triggers swing recordings in Swing Catalyst automatically, saving you the hassle of starting and stopping the recording manually.

Club and ball data: Swing Catalyst saves vital ball and club data with every unique video file. This data can be presented in data boxes for each take and is useful for analyzing and improving your swing.
Easier archive searching: Searching for specific swings in the archive becomes much easier with the club and ball data filtering.
Easily compare swings: You can easily compare the launch monitor data of two different swings in Swing Catalyst's side-by-side comparison view.

Connecting your launch monitor

Foresight GC Units
To connect your Foresight GC unit, you may choose to use ethernet, USB or Wifi. The unit connects directly to Swing Catalyst and you may run Swing Catalyst without FSX and still use it as a trigger and collect the ball and club data.

Swing Catalyst integrates with the GC3, GCQuad and GCHawk units.‍

Flightscope Units
To connect your Flightscope Mevo+ connect the unit to the PC over Wifi. Please note that the Flighstcope Mevo+ will only run with Swing Catalyst alone or simulation softwares alone. It will not run Swing Catalyst and a simulation software at the same time.

Swing Catalyst integrates with the X3 and Mevo+ units.

Connecting to a Foresight Sports GC3 unit

If you are using the Foresight Sports GC3, you need to follow the additional steps:
  1. Close Swing Catalyst and connect the GC3 / Launch Pro via USB to your computer.
  2. Make sure that the Foresight GC3 is showing up on your computer. It will show up as a Mass Storage Device under This PC.
  3. Open the extracted folder and double click on "Workaround.exe". This will open a command prompt window where it will attempt to connect and disconnect to your launch monitor.
  4. Download and extract the workaround from here.

Choose between a permanent or portable set up

Recommended lights

Additional lighting can help achieve the best performance with the recommended cameras. Installing two or three lights will provide optimal conditions for recording. Your lighting solution will depend on various factors, such as the size and layout of your recording space and the ambient lighting conditions.

We recommend these lights from Thomann.
